Produce professional mobile-ready multimedia
VIMStudio provides professionals with everything
they need to create highly versatile and engaging mobile multimedia
content. This comprehensive set of tools comes with built-in digital
image processing functionality for enabling the swift production
of photo-realistic multimedia clips that easily adapt to handset
viewing capabilities. Vimatix's highly efficient vector-based
approach to image representation enables the automatic capture
of existing images, animation and video, reduces time-consuming
drawing tasks to a minimum, and eliminates the need to create
visuals from scratch.
VIMStudio Components
VIMTexture - Object
Library
This module enables still object definition that involves preparing
the graphic elements and defining the 'actors' that are featured
in the clip to facilitate the isolation of objects and backgrounds
within a still image. VIMTexture includes the ability to import
or drag bitmap images into the editor and convert them into vectorized
versions of the original image.
VIMCast - Animation Library
This module enables dynamic object definition that involves defining
the kinetic movement of the static actors by attaching a skeleton
to the vectorized image for enabling movement patterns. Skeletons
are composed of 'bones' that connect to each other at 'joints',
and 'ligaments' that mark the scope of the bones' influence. Animation
defined by rotating bones in their joints, shrinking or stretching
the length of a bone, or bending a bone to control its curvature.
VIMAnimator - Multimedia Clip Composition
This module helps compose a multimedia clip from elementary components
made up of one or more actors with Vimatix-enabled backgrounds,
text or soundtracks. The clip is defined by its timeline, which
is made up of the sequence of all the frames in the clip. The
animation process is based on defining the position and posture
of each actor in a number of key frames along the timeline. In
addition to manipulating actors, an imaginary camera that is shooting
the clip can be manipulated using zoom, pan, rotation and other
3D effects.
